my stupid, but possibly a very simple, method!
- make ur tune an mp3 file, as small as possible, balancing sound quality and loading time
- upload the mp3 file onto a network drive. that is, u have to have some disk space somewhere on the internet. in my case, as i was a paid member of blogger.com, they coninue to let me have some disk space to upload files onto. as for goethe, he uploads his songs onto the disk space provided by his ISP. in any case, the most important point is, u have to get a URL of the mp3 file u have uploaded. in my case, it's http://pk_.blogspot.com/song.mp3
- edit the template of ur blog to embed the mp3 into it, by add the following line where u like.
EMBED src="URL" autostart="true" loop="true" width=50" height="20" CONTROLS="console" aligh="left"
(remember to add "<" and ">" at the start and the end of this line)
URL is the URL of ur mp3 file. u may use the "view source" function of ur browser to see where and how i add the line. search text for "mp3" would help u find the line much easier.
- after republishing ur blog, ur tune should play automatically when ppl visit ur blog.
- u dont need to edit ur template every time. my trick is, i change the source file. i make every new tune i choose an mp3 file named "song.mp3" and upload it to overwrite the last tune.
